The Events Coordinator will be responsible for the full lifecycle of IMG Performance/IMG Academy events, including strategic planning, logistics, operations and execution on/off campus events. Position Responsibilities Develop and execute strategic and tactical event operations plans Full-service management and oversight on events, including sponsorship sales and promotional campaigns Create event operations budgets and manage event expenditures within budget Successfully plan, organize and manage on- and off-campus events Develop and execute an event production timeline for all events Develop and execute plan for procurement, training and management of event staff Procure all necessary permits, event sanctions, supplies and equipment Prepare venue schematics Coordinate on site venue environment including signage, displays, vendor, check in processes Collaborate with marketing on event campaigns including communication and promotions Manage companywide risk and site management plans Support business development team with execution of corporate sponsors and IMG Academy business partners Adhere to all company policies, procedures and business ethic codes Other duties as assigned Knowledge, Skills and Ability Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Marketing or related field or related experience Experience with event planning and management Ability to establish and follow budgets Ability to work with others Highly motivated and able to take initiative Ability to work in a fast – paced, dynamic environment meeting multiple deadlines Strategic thinker with the ability to learn existing processes and improve them by setting up new procedures Ability to travel significantly Exceptionally detailed in work Ability to communicate to a variety of audiences Strong organizational skills Desire to work collaboratively with colleagues Excellent written and verbal communication skills Preferred Skills Youth sports/events Sports background Ability to develop business Baseball, Gol for Tennis event experience Physical Demands and Work Environment Ability to lift, move, push and pull equipment or boxes in excess of40lbs. Ability to perform the physical aspects of event set up, tear down and execution. Must be able to travel frequently and with limited lead time Should be able to handle outdoor temperatures for a reasonable period of time. Must be able to move around campus which includes gym, turf, fields, etc. Ability to work flexible hours to include nights, weekends and holidays is required
